The Kent Apprenticeship Awards recognise achievement in apprenticeships and the contribution they make to Kent’s workforce and economy.
Created by East Kent Colleges Group, MidKent College and North Kent College, the awards grew from the East Kent Apprenticeship Awards and became a county-wide programme in 2026.
Covering a wide range of sectors, they recognise the people and organisations developing skills, opening up career opportunities and investing in the workforce Kent needs for the future.

A bigger celebration for the whole of Kent
Expanding from East Kent to a county-wide event allows the awards to:
- Celebrate a broader range of talent and organisations
- Create greater visibility for apprenticeships across Kent
- Offer enhanced networking opportunities
- Deliver a large, more impactful event experience
This evolution reflects the growing importance of apprenticeships in supporting Kent’s workforce, economy and future skills.
Why a county-wide awards programme matters
By bringing the apprenticeship community together under one county-wide celebration, the Kent Apprenticeship Awards reflect the scale, ambition and impact of apprenticeships across Kent. The expanded programme fosters stronger connections, wider recognition and a shared platform to celebrate success across all regions, sectors and industries.
Who the awards are for
The Kent Apprenticeship Awards are open to apprentices, employers, training providers and individuals who champion apprenticeships across Kent.
Whether recognising emerging talent, celebrating business investment in skills, or highlighting innovation in training, the awards showcase success at every level.
Looking ahead
As apprenticeships continue to play a vital role in addressing skills needs and supporting economic growth, the Kent Apprenticeship Awards will continue to evolve, recognising excellence, inspiring future talent and celebrating the people shaping Kent’s workforce of tomorrow.
Apprenticeships for us are an opportunity to give our colleagues, new and existing, the foundations in knowledge and skills for their chosen career pathways, as well as supporting the business to drive cultural change through embedding expected behaviours.
