From East Kent to County-Wide

The Kent Apprenticeship Awards have officially launched, celebrating the achievements of apprentices, employers and training providers across the whole of Kent.

Building on the strong legacy of the East Kent Apprenticeship Awards, the programme has evolved to reflect the growing strength and reach of apprenticeships across the county. The newly expanded awards now recognise excellence from every part of Kent, ensuring the full apprenticeship community is represented and celebrated.

Apprenticeships play a vital role in creating opportunities, helping people of all ages to gain valuable skills, earn while they learn and progress within their chosen industries. For employers, apprenticeships provide a powerful way to grow talent, address skill shortages and invest in the future of their workforce. The awards will celebrate excellence across a range of categories, recognising outstanding apprentices who demonstrate commitment and ambition, employers who invest in developing talent, and training providers who deliver high-quality learning and support. By showcasing these achievements, the Kent Apprenticeship Awards aim to inspire more individuals and businesses across the county to engage with apprenticeships.

The launch of the county-wide awards is supported by strong collaboration between Kent’s further education sector. The Kent Apprenticeship Awards have been founded by:

  • East Kent Colleges Group (EKC)
  • MidKent College (MKC)
  • North Kent College (NKC)

Together, the partners are committed to championing apprenticeships as a vital pathway for skills development, career progression and economic growth across Kent.
